I have to figure out how to not waste the $20.00 can of paint and still make that room look sellable. I have my mixing cups ready.

Absent way to long-sorrrrry! You were not wrong...it's all in the spin you put on it. You're calling on your inner artist to tweak this paint to get it exactly the color it was meant to be. Home Depot is not qualified to do this...All part of your master plan...
